Ed Green (Pras from the Fugees), a 19 year-old slacker who must escape a ruthless Mexican gang, decides to hide from them by enrolling at a local University. Upon meeting his new stoner roommate Bud (Aries Spears), and discovering the crazy party lifestyle on campus, Ed learns that his new college life may pose more of a threat than the Mexican gang.
