The street-smart “Meet Me on a Rooftop” and the sunshine-bright “Surfer Girl” find the now-transplanted Californian neatly working both coasts, vibe-wise, while more inward-looking compositions such as “Soul Lover” and “Angel of Darkness” showcase her familiar smoldering side.
