Extraordinary Film And Music

Skyy ZNO’s debut SMN Records/Lightyear Entertainment/Virgin Music Group first set of singles, a collaboration with Grammy-winning production legend Joe “The Butcher” Nicolo, is a vast sonic pallet spanning the reaches of suave, FM-ready dance (“Ledge”), and anthemic urban pop-punk (“Hell with it all”), to debonair Latin-tinged soul (“Andale”)—and for good measure, one high-energy, modern R&B take on a century-old Christmas classic (“Carol of the Bells”). Boasting a unique personal star presence and effortless delivery reminiscent of Juice WRLD or The Weeknd, as well as a natural gift for hooks on the level of Blink-182, Skyy ZNO is a new, genre-fusing breed of urban musician.

Skyy’s stylistic inspirations include street-level trendsetters like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Banksy, and the anime aesthetics of Hunter X Hunter. As a creator, he aims to embody the iron-willed vision of Prince and Kanye West, while practicing composition on par with his favorite songwriter, Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace. Skyy ZNO’s music explores themes like universal spirituality and death, the challenges of fractured family, personal resurrection, and America’s addiction to prescription drugs. His personal playlist currently includes the lo-fi darkwave of Eyedress, the bedroom pop of Clairo, and Montell Fish’s lush, minimalist indie.
